Vietnam and Uganda have no bilateral agreement on visa exemption and Ugandan
passport holders are required visa for entering to visit Vietnam. As an Ugandan
citizens, please don’t forget to apply for Vietnam visa if plan to visit
Vietnam for tourist or business purpose.
There is no Vietnam Consulate and
embassy present in Uganda, therefore you should contact Vietnam embassy in
neighboring country to submit for Vietnam visa. Fortunately, Vietnam recently
installed electronics system for issuing visa on arrival at international
airports of Vietnam but you must obtain approval letter from Vietnam
Immigration Department first then can get Vietnam visa on arrival

policy of Vietnam government to facilitate travelers from over the world get
visa for Vietnam fast, cheap and easy, especially for travelers living far from
